“ Idyllic house and garden in rural Gascony The house is set in a beautiful garden with magnificent trees overlooked by nearly all of the bedrooms. When you walk across the lawn, the scent of pine is wonderful. The swimming pool was brilliant for the children and the house itself is very spacious and easy to live in. We ate very well both from local markets and out. The bread is incredible. It's a great base if you want somewhere to wind down and play games - if you want a bit more activity, you have to go out and find it. Our favourites were going to the Pyrenees (2 hours away) and a local 'museum', which is a reconstruction of a forest community/farm called Ecomuseum de La Grande Lande Marquèze. You have to catch a hundred-year-old train to get into the heart of the forest. It was incredible - they even had a bakery on site (more delicious bread!). The owners Grahame and Diana were very hospitable and considerate. We think this is a real find if you want to get away from it all. Mr and Mrs C.McL - UK “

I would like to thank Diana and Grahame for being such lovely hosts. The drink on arrival was so much appreciated. Lovely to chat. The GITE is very spacious, with a well equipped kitchen. Parking and the large garden was ideal. The pool was well looked after and very clean. We loved the evenings on the patio and the amazing quiet. It was so peaceful. Easy trip to and from Bergerac airport.  We had a glorious day in Biarritz as we went on a Sunday and arrived by 10am it was an easy journey in and out left to come back at 16:00. Our 23 year daughter loved the Gite and chats with the owners.  We had two wonderful cycling days on the green lane which runs through the property. Sad it was only a week. Mr and Mrs T.H. - UK
7 of us stayed in this beautiful holiday home this August. We had two glorious weeks of hot weather, relaxing by the pool and eating al fresco in tranquil French countryside. The house is immaculate, well equipped, comfortable and spacious. The garden is huge with plenty of space to find your own bit of peace a quiet while the kids play in the pool. However, without, doubt, the best thing about holidaying in Lasgraves are the lovely owners, Grahame and Diana, who were on hand to make us feel welcome and just added that extra bit of holiday magic that really made it so memorable. We had a wonderful week at Lasgraves this August.  Such a peaceful, beautiful setting and just what we all needed to relax after a few stressful months. The house is light and spacious and the pool was perfect.  Grahame and Diane couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful.  All in all a lovely holiday - thank you. Mrs C.B and family - UK
We had 2 amazing weeks at Las Graves in July/August 2018 and it was fantastic. To say it was relaxing is a massive understatement. Relaxing by the pool in the hot French sun sipping the local wines and eating local produce was just what the doctor ordered. Las Graves is rural so a car is a must, however there is a track that runs by the house that is flat and goes straight into the village if you fancy a walk (about 3km). The location was excellent, we visited Spain and Lourdes whilst we were there, both being about a 90 minute drive. Graham and Dianna were marvellous throughout. From the warm welcome with a nice bottle of wine right through to our departure they were both attentive without being intrusive. We have had many holidays in France at various locations but I can say without doubt that this was my favourite location of them all. The tranquility was amazing. A great 2 weeks which we will definitely be experiencing again in the future. Thank you Graham and Dianna, see you soon. Mr R.H and Family, UK.
